I washed my fox yesterday and took it to a local paint/body shop that my grandfather knows the owner. He said I need a new front and rear bumper and said the rear passenger side around the fuel door was filled with bondo. It was probably wrecked at a drag strip since carfax didn't have any accidents reported on it. He took a bunch of pictures and said I'll hear back from him with an estimate on a paint job.

I wish my fox looked as good as it does in this picture. It gives it way too much justice.

My son is 8 and calls my Stang "Daddy's special car". I think it's good for him to have that level of respect for the car. Primarily, if for no other reason, because of it's lilywhite "I get dirty if you just look at me long enough" interior. Not a remotely practical color for a car's interior. Definitely not good for lugging the kid back and forth between events, but as such he does really enjoy on the occasions I do allow him to come along for a ride with the roof down.

That's awesome! Having a "special" car definitely give me time to bond with the kids. My kids love taking rides in the Mustang and more often than I realize, ask.... "are we taking the Mustang"! I think its cool that they enjoy something that I work so hard on. I just wish they were old enough to turn some wrenches!!!
