Winter is over finally. I pulled it out yesterday, started right up and drove pretty well. Need to get an oil change and swap on the non winter wheels.

The tires on the 98 cobra wheels are regular non DR tires so it was just silly fun rolling into the throttle and blowing them off at 4500 rpm in 1-4th

Anyhow, couple of pics.

half way done on the 1st pass for the TF wheels. Polishing by hand sucks butts.

I just love how understated that car is. Nothing to see here, just a near 100% stock-looking fox GT with 1000hp under the hood...

Thanks guys, flashy mode re-engaged.

Even after 19 years with the car I was still giggling like a idiot driving it yesterday.

had to take it out again for a spin.

Not too bad for a stock paint GT

That looks like a '65-'66 GT emblem on the fender? I ran a pair of those on my '02 GT. Nice little vintage touch that went well with the car.

Replaced the leaking valve cover gaskets, replaced the faulty coolant temp sensor, removed the whining smog pump, replaced rotted vacuum lines, and chased the threads in a few uncooperative holes.

Still alive and well. It's being driven in a cruise this weekend, then pulled apart for paint and leak fixes.

She is blue now. Got some stuff put back together today, Now have to black out all the trim that the previous owner painted when they tried to "paint" the car.

Was the only pushrod powered fox in a 50 car cruise last night. Only 1 other fox, and it was a coyote swap.
