Nice car! I had those taillights in a dragcar I used to own. Everyone tried to tell me they were 93 SVO cobra lights, when they were in fact out of an SVO turbo mustang.. (they were of course the same, but you probably knew that.)

Yeah the reason I choose them is because the car a 2.3 turbo motor in it. Doing my version of a 93 svo I guess

I've always thought those were the best looking factory taillights that ever came on a fox.

Here is the silver base that was used. It is hard to get a picture that actually shows how much this paint changes with the light. It is amazing!

Looking good! Are you the one painting it? Curious as to why you masked off the rest of the car while jamming? I've always jammed my cars with only the typical windows, wheels, etc masked off and let it over spray the rest of the body. It always evened out fine in the end. I know there's more than one way to do something right so don't take this as me saying you're doing something wrong.

What brand paint are you using? What gun are you using?
Can't wait to see the finished product!

My uncle is doing the painting. I think he is just being cautious with the paint. It is essentially a three stage paint. And it is his first time doing 3 stage. And the coats can be tricky.

What's hanging out of the hood in front of the car? With the exception of that, it looks like it should be a good driver

At Frankenmuth car show with my dad his 47 ford pickup. Show is 1978 and older but did not stop me from cruising. Got to meet a couple of Frankenmuth finest on Saturday night! It's hard when you have a 460hp mustang with such long legs 7,500rpm from first to second is moving.
