I heard that!

I've never tried dye before, but used some vinyl paint on the plastic in my last 4 eye and it SUCKED! Run away from that stuff! It scratched off and looked like hell. I know you said funds are low, and not sure if you've heard of them, but frank-n-stangs is a huge mustang salvage yard that will mail you what ever you need. I've used him a lot and he's very reasonable and gets hard to find stuff. I think his email is 0nebad93lx@yahoo.com .

It actually is greenish...Lexus calls it Desert Sage Metallic. It's grayish looking in certain lights.

Damn those are rare. I remember reading about one in a magazine years ago. They also made a big deal about the beige interior.

Ya, the color wasnt my first pick, but when I found it 12 years ago for $1200 in 100 % stock condition I wasnt going to let it go. I have grown to like the color over the years. Its different.

About the closest I will come to owning a foxbody as of right now. I'd love to get one to use as a daily driver though I know I couldn't keep from modding it

1 of 46 for that year or total? When these cars were brand new there were two this color in my area. I knew they were rare, but 46?? Wow.

There were a couple shades very similar to that if i remember right. One of them (might be this one) was always referred to as beige but it was a yellow color according to Ford. Someone reference the official Fox bible on this one.
