I know how you feel! We've been tinkering with our convertible since we bought it in the beginning of the year. We just installed the "new" nose piece with new one piece headlights and clear fogs, but it still has a ways to go yet!!

My car is finally coming off the jack stands this week. Trying out some sve drift wheels. It'll be black on black which I usually don't care for but I think it'll be pretty cool with these wheels.

Those are very nice. I dig the deep dish myself, but i wouldn't mind some like these either.

I'm with you, I generally prefer deep dish as well. Figured that given the price of the wheels, I'd try something different.

You apparently had no issue stretching a 235 tire over a 18x9" wheel huh?

Man I'd LOVE to have the Drift wheels on my car, but with the IRS they don't make the right offset.

Do you need a lower or higher offset? I think they make them in 18" for the s197 cars and I believe they'd in the +40 range.

It's only an inch or two. What's the big deal?

Needs to be higher, 18x9 +45ish... the 18x9 they sell is only like +35 or so and would stick out I'm sure. The 18x10 has the right offset but is 1" too wide. I've considered seeing if I can buy that one and have it narrowed but still keep the offset for the rears, the fronts are easy as I'd just buy the right ones and bolt them up.

The S197 wheels are +35mm, we IRS guys need +45mm for a 9" wheel which places the wheel perfectly.

Oops, I didn't see @bird_dog0347 's post.

Oh that's a bummer. Not sure what the cost is to narrow a wheel, but I'm guessing it's probably close to the cost of the wheel itself lol
