Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

Bigelow Gulch. What a great name.

Finally got my fox moved to my new house. Had it "stored" the last two years due to selling my other place, and apartment living with the g/f. New house now, so home it came.

Needs some cleaning, and while stored the Saleen wing was damaged. I took it off and looking to get an LX wing back on.

With my new Taurus. Night and day difference in size and creature comforts between them.

First wash after a few years

Almost looks like a notchback here

Can't wait to take for ride

Man, it's been a while since I've seen a pic of that car! Are you going to keep the Cobra wheels on or change it up? I thought you said something a while back about that..

Edit: congrats on the new home!

Thanks!

I've had these for a while.

I'll get some tires this summer. The 97 cobra wheels are pretty beat up, and the tires are old. So I may sell them and get the polished wheels on soon.

Sitting, however, has rusted up my rotors though. I may have to invest in some zinc-washed drilled rotors and touch up the caliper paint somewhat.

As much as I love the '97 Cobras, they've been on the car for 10+ years and are beat up. Can't see it from 10 feet away, but they are curbed and scratched...mostly how I got them.

The polished cobras are pristine, considering they came off a 2004 GT with less than 5K on them when I got them. Best $400 I ever spent

Thinking of sending two out to be widened. Add 1" to the inside to make them 17x9's and toss on some 275's. I'm running Sn95 cobra brakes out back, so I have the room to the inside to add. I estimate $200 per side, so need to decide if that's really worth it.

Getting the LX wing back on. Last time I had the LX wing was sometime around 1999/2000.

I like the look of it much better already.

Interior detail coming along nicely. Of course, after getting it all done, I start car and turn on the vents....blowing dust out of the vents and all over the seats [emoji35]

And a little Taurus/Mustang Instagram love

Unsure. It may be more cost effective to buy a pristine set, and then sell these. Unsure if pristine 96-97 Cobras exist though 20 years later.

Damn. Are these wheels really 20 years old? I remember when my buddy bought his 1997 Cobra brand new. He changed the rims to cobra R, and sold me these.

Ah...memories

I dont think I coulda let that car sit for 2 years without driving it, just beautiful

X2 on keep the rims that are on there

Oh it's sat a lot longer than that.

Since 2002, I've put less than 1000 miles on it. It currently has about 103k miles on the car.

Gonna bolt up one of my polished 01 Cobras tonight. Now I'm debating the wheels.

Anyway, now that it's not in a storage unit, and I'm my garage, time for some engine work. I've got a TFS1 cam, cobra 1.7RRS and a set of GT-40ps I got when I was a poor college student. I may go with different heads though.

guess the 01's and replicas are so common place and the 97's are far less common
and look really good on That car.

But then again we dont see the curb rash etc in pics...

Are those the stock seats?

I think that's why everyone loves them. I agree 100% that they look great...in pics. it's just that my set is not in so great shape when you get up close. A set of rims in pristine shape would def bring up the curbside appeal of the car in person. Right now, I think it's a huge distraction as there are curb marks on each, issues with the clearcoat, dents/dings from people taking the center caps off incorrectly, etc.
