It is nice to find some fox friendly shops! I have a fear that I will come across a Chevy lover and they will fudge something on my mustang... My '88 project came to a complete stop after I found the wiring problem. I got a replacement fuse box harness yesterday in the mail and it is a bit overwhelming. I have the dash apart and the wires exposed but I get a very uneasy feeling around electrical work... I know that body shops are usually familiar with wiring, maybe I could get a estimate from him or something? I would like to sell the car during tax return season and get enough off of it for a 347 short block and a built AOD... I saw that he is running a body shop, that is why I asked.

I recognize everything from the LateModelRestore website. I think that they are a site sponsor also, I heard of member discount codes for the forum members?

Went for quick drive today to grab a coffee. Was chilly and windy, so wasn't out long. Sucks trying to hold a coffee and shift on your ride home.

Anyway, probably it for the season. I'm sure there are a few more good days, but my free time is now gone for the next month or so. You can see my next project for my next free weekend sitting at front of car. Installing sliding glass door

Got some compliments while out. One person specifically loved the wheels. I'm really digging the Bullitt wheels over the 97 Cobras now. Def can't go back

Oil change next week, perform my mass air conversion, and touch up the brakes. The paint has seen better days

damn that has to suck for you guys up North to put away your cars from October through March. But then I guess it gives you plenty of time during snow storms to do those winter projects... One thing I don't miss is wrenching on cars in a cold garage... Part of the reason I quit doing it for a living. Got tired of snow dripping on my head and busting knuckles when it's 20 degrees out.

I could still drive thru dec but It's less enjoyable for me as I like windows down, sunroof open cruising. But if there's a nice day in December, and no salt on the road, I'll go for a spin. Iirc, it was 70 here last Xmas eve.

But for the most part, I'm ready for some couch lounging on a cold sat AM in front of fireplace

I put it away once the temps get under 60 consistently. A cold sunny day in early December lured me in one time. Cold road+cold sport tires+mustang suspension=inches from disaster. Never again.

This forecast equals storage for the Fox for me. I don't trust the "sunny" days in the forecast. I've seen too many nice days turn into rain showers where I live. There's still a couple nice days here and there but it's time to swap engines before the daily highs for temp is around 30* or colder.

Yeah. Already at that point here. Mid 30s this AM. The tires don't hook that well, and that's a dangerous recipe. Plus it's just not fun.

Taurus has factory remote start that automatically turns on heat and the heated seats. Walked out to a nice toasty seat bottom

True. Warm and sunny = Fox, NOT warm and sunny = truck

Well, they were toasted. One is a slick, the other one has a nasty slice in it that I don't want to risk at higher speeds. Really, I need to decide on a good rear tire, and get a pair over the winter.
