Love your car, and what you're doing with it. I've always loved your car. Its essentially what i have done, and continue to do with mine. The older I get (I'm 34) the more "stockish with tasteful mods" i have been doing with my car. I want to do Heads and a cam, i find myself looking at ford only parts not for cost, but just to keep it all "oem" in a sense. When i was younger the first thing i did to my past fox's was pull things apart. Funny how our visions change over time!

I remember when I was a teenager/college student with this car, all I wanted to do was a 3" cowl hood, Saleen GFX, gut the interior, rip the A/C out (I did this regretfully) and so on. But, since I was a teenager, I was also broke. All I managed to do was slap the Saleen spoiler on, which I removed last year and went back to the LX wing. So in a way, I'm glad I didn't do 90% of the things I wanted to do to my car back then. The 10% I did do, I've been spending time undoing these days.

I'm still gonna do a nice HCI setup. ENgine comes out this fall if all goes according to plan

Important thing to do when removing emissions, AC, stock wing, etc is KEEP THEM!! I did remove my AC this last winter during the install of my KB supercharger. I removed the AC because I did not want to cut and extend the factory lines to re-route around the supercharger. I don't use the AC anyway but I'll keep it just in case I change my mind down the road.

I did the same, but my first 2 foxes are long gone now. The one i have now i bought from a member here in 2008 as a shell for the most part (@mustang25th). I plan on doing the same, a nice HC, I already have an original 93 cobra intake that i love the way it looks so its staying haha. Also, my AC blows nice and cold, that was one thing i made sure to install when i did the initial build!

WOW, some nice Fox cars here. First time I've been here, I own a 89 Saleen, #85 Convertible, has 12,950 orig. mi. just sits covered in my shop. Now at 80, is time to sell to a younger Fox fan. It's white w/ blue stripes, has grey with red piping seats, is untouched except for one new cat a few years ago. Just dug it out and drove it 5 blocks for smog test, passed with two year old gas and new oil change. I now own 15 mustangs, 64 1/2 conv. D engine, 289 4 bbl and 4 speed, has orig old red paint w/ white top and seats, sitting since 1981 awaiting resto. I have three big block 69 fastbacks and four 69 conv's, also a 68 / 390 dlx. cp. and others. Glad I finally found a place for ideas and info, Thanx guys (and gals). Don't know how to add pics yet. Hi Mike, sure wish I had a couple more sons who could finish some of my best cars. I lost my oldest son in Kuwait, so our government says, he was a AFOSI agent for most of his 21 years enlisted.
I am,(with my son Tony) still working to finish a 69 428 CJ Mach, and also a 69 fastback, 351/408 ci. I also hope to hear both of my engines run on a 67 Fb. with two 351C engines, t-rams and four 4 bbls. Will post pics when I learn how.
Maybe someone out there can direct me on the pics, nothing has worked so far.

Harry- first thank you for your son's service and sacrifice. Second, your collection of Mustangs has everyone on this site jealous and drooling for more information on the history, builds and of course pictures.

You can easily upload pictures from your computer by clicking on the "upload a file" button, then locating the pictures on your computer, then clicking on them one at a time to have them posted in a message. You can post 10 pictures per message. You can also cloxk on the "image" icon next to the smiley face in the top taskbar to import an image you have on another site..

@Noobz347 is the resident tech wizard and all around janitor that can help you out better than anyone else here.

Again, glad you found the site and please hang around a while We need more of us old farts to teach these young bucks a thing or to.. lol

Harry, you and your offspring sound like great Americans! Welcome to the website! I was just today telling my friends how much I love the early fastbacks, so I'm definitely jealous of your collection!

Gotta link for some of those chrome engine pieces?

Sorry as nothing I bought new
most of the parts I polished
the chrome/billet parts I scored randomly on CL or Ebay
I recently found a guy that does incredibe polishing that rivals chrome for very reasonable prices on FB--- Fransisco Ortiz @ Ortiz Polishing, and swapped out my prior explorer intake for this one.
