Dusty went out for a quick drive....through the neighborhood and Walmart parking lot....with....no....tags. Around here its better to have none than to put a wrong tag on it.

This was after the drive...

Thanks Dave. Paint shines but the prep prior to paint was not so good. Too many dings were left. Reverse dings too

No need for shame there. That car looks great, and you’re building a home for it. My foxes sit out in the northeast elements. And they don’t look as good. Nice GT!

So many amazing foxbodies on here makes me a tad ashamed to post mine. I’ve only had it for two weeks, so I haven’t had time to do much to it yet, but I definitely have plans for it. I’m currently building a 26’x32’ garage for it to live in, so it will be able to sleep inside in just a few weeks. Also this forum makes my wallet very, very nervous.

New '98 Cobra leather parking brake handle installed

I honestly don't think I could go back to the plastic handle ever now.

New decal! I am starting to put my foot in it more and more. There are tons of faster cars out there today, but the old school pushrod torque, and sound still hold their own off the line at a light.

The hood is vinyl wrapped with vvivid vinyls color called satin chrome black rust and the car is a spray wrap from a product called Raail Airwrap. Its sprayed with a pearl called Europa. I did a light pearl load to keep the green darker and it shifts to a gold/blue/purple color. Raail.com is the product i sprayed and kppigments.com is where i bought the pearls.

That’s kind of interesting, I’ve got to look into that stuff. It does look pretty trick.

What kind of surface prep was involved prior to spraying?

It's pretty straightforward. Check out this video for a walk through on prep. Its a different product from what i used but prep is the same. For me the raail products spray smoother and are easier to work with than plasti dip.
