GroverDill, your car looks awesome with those wheels. What is up with the white car? Are those front fenders fiberglass?

The 86 I recently bought off a good friend who was done with cars.

327 /S-trim/T56/Full griggs (Kmember, a-arms, torque arm, panhard) coilvers, brembos
The Griggs moves the wheels 1.5" forward and these are tiger racing fiberglass fenders on it (275's all the way around)

Did you paint the window trim yourself? I need to paint, or have mine painted. Was it difficult to remove? The trim around my back windows is good, but all of the trim around the front windows, windsheild, and back window needs to be removed and painted.

Yes I painted it myself.

SEM trim paint 39143 is what I used. Trim removal is not easy nor hard, just takes some trial and error and. I have a harbor freight near me so i got the 4 piece trim removal tools on sale for 10 bucks.

Go slow and you will be ok, I got frustrated and took a couple breaks to regroup. I figure a little extra time vs destroyed parts was worth it.

FYI a lot of the trim is no longer available so be careful or you will be searching junkyards. The hardest part was removing the quarter windows, lots of work but wow it looks so good now.

This was about 1 week ago. Only thing that has changed since is the rear wheel wells got painted black as did the pinch welds.

I cant really. The turbo car with 295 BFG drag radials and HD torque arm helps but it makes 920/920 to the wheels so it is a losing battle.

The 86 has a Griggs torque arm and some very hard sumito(sp) tires so it is extremely traction limited even at 440/460

My 06 4runner can put all its power down

Do you have any videos of it?

It kills me that no one uploads videos on here.
