Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

As I was leaving the shop tonight I decided to take what I Hope is the last picture I take of it not running.
I honestly think that tomorrow night she will be parked in my garage after I have some fun with it. :)

Looks like it doesnt want to be left alone. Kinda lonely.

Autofest car show in Frankenmuth, Mi this past weekend. Car got wheeled and waxed, new SVE head lights and a nice used Ford badge for the front to prepare for this show. Rained on Friday on the way up but made the 150 mile round trip no problem!

It is as I left it tonight.
She is basically ready to go.
As the car is 36 years old, he’s really checking the wiring out.
Replacing what is needed, and making sure I have no problems down the road.
I’ve already paid him in full, for exhaust and everything.
Told him I would pay whatever is needed to get it the way it needs to be.
Told me I don’t owe him another Dime.
He said when it leaves his shop the work has his name on it.
It will be right.
I’m so fortunate to have the Friends that I have.
So maybe a few more days. :)

When you post a pic just select your pic, let it upload, then do not hit "thumbnail" or "full size"....or whatever those two selections say. It will insert it without duplicates.

Look at these Foxes, just constant foolishness. One thing or another. The thing to remember boys is when our cars run they are the sh>t . They sound better than any Camaro. They look awsome . And people who know love the 5.0 . We got real cars that they dont make like this anymore

I bought a new 1965 Mustang when I was almost 17 ( and yes I worked, and paid for it)
289 with a 3 speed stick shift.
It was unusual as most had 4 speeds.
Didn’t need a 4 speed.
Go through the quarter in second gear, and it kicked ass.
I bought a new 2015 Mustang.
435 Hp— what was not to like?
Never thought too much about the Fox until I owned one and looking around for how much I could sell it for.
Started to realize that the Fox body was sorta special.
I’m so glad that I didn’t sell it:)
Funny how things work out :)

And before any of you youngins wonder how you can buy a new car at 16—-
You carry papers for the local news paper.
Paid $5 a week.
Had the neighborhood lawn mowing locked up. $1 to $1:50 a yard.
Had the neighborhood sidewalk snow shoveling locked up.
At 16 the local truck stop hired me to work after school and during the summer.
It was a blast.
Never asked my Daddy for nothing but his signature to buy the car.
I didn’t like him.
That’s my Mustang story :)

Love it!!

I Started delivering the Saturday Pennysaver when I was 12. Havnt stopped working since. In 8th grade I wanted one of those cool GT bmx trick bikes. My dad saw the price, and said “if you buy it, you can have it”. I put it on layaway and every week after paper route collection, I put some money down.
That one lesson taught me a healthy respect about hard work.
I try to instill this work ethic in my daughter, as well as the respect for the dollar...... unfortunately I’m in the minority in this respect these days.

I’m so glad I didn’t have to do the collection.
Had friends that carried papers for the City papers that had to do that.
It was so frustrating for them..
It was a different time unfortunately .
