OK I need some pics of 65-66 tailpipes, both from behind the car and behind the rear valance. THANKS!!

Well, here's my 2.5" chrome slant tips out the GT valance. Unfortunately...you can't really see em all that well unless you're up close. I'll try to take a closer pic tomorrow, it's kinda late now. I keep em nice and polished, but it doesn't even seem to matter. If I did it over, I woulda had em stick out the rear about an inch more.

Why's that exactly? Just curious because I'm close to having my exhaust done soon (slash cuts through GT valance) and I want to make it right.

I was thinkin stickin out further so you could actually see em...they're pretty hidden back there. A tip with a "thicker lip" would prolly do the same job, or maybe a straight cut.

Here's mine. They stick out some, and I like it Hopefully, I'll get some chrome trim caps to go onto the valences.

Another vote for PCH Cruiser.

I'm too embarressed to post a picture of mine. My 2.5" exhaust had to be reduced to 2" to go over the rear axle and through the panhard bar clearance.
