Looking to get some ideas for a better looking engine bay and figured why not....

This pic is about 3 years old, but nothing has really changed except for the radiator cap. The best thing to do is either cover up the factory black plastic stuff with chrome/stainless pieces or just toss the factory plastic all together and get chrome/stainless/aluminum pieces. Or you can paint/powdercoat some engine stuff to the color of your car. If you've got a GT they don't make any good aftermarket valve covers if you ask me.

See attached...note the polished shaker cover! (Crzyhrse that's all you need to 'complete' yours - btw, love the chromed shaker intake piping - nice!)

What did you use to paint those valve covers? I am looking into painting a new set of romeos I picked up last week. I wanna do anything to take the attention off the cluster**** of wires and hoses in this engine bay.

yah, they did on the 99-04 GT's. My Cobra's engine bay is clearcoated, however. 05+ are also.

yeah I noticed that with the cobras.
Theres a spot behind my battery where you can see some primer, damn ford

If I ever have the engine out ill get it all painted

Here is mine with single turbo kit. Motor blew on august 28th at the track , getting 5.0l stroker cost high performance pro street doninator internals . 1000hp capable or 800rwhp. Right now I have stock trans so will lower power to 600rwhp until I get build rear even and trans.

nothing special except for the center piece. I plan on doing some more things to make it look better
