Hey whats up everyone I am in Afghanistan right now but when I get home I will be looking at getting a power adder. I was wondering if anyonehad anything to say about 1) Procharger and 2) the twin turbo kit from HP performance www.turbochargedpower.com any help would be great.

as far as what my car has my old screen name was Tarp so if you want you can look it up there I will fix this one up soon.

I have heard of a BUNCH of problems with the procharger that have to deal with oil seal leaks. As far as the turbo, it would be AWESOME, but I would make sure I had a forged short block first.

turbos are better, but cost more. if you want a centi style supercharger, get the NOVI 2000.

When my old procharger blew a seal it did this for me...........

Many people have had no problems at all with theirs but I won't take the risk again.

My vote goes to the turbo as I've already seen it make 720 rwhp on a 2V. Of course it had a fully built motor so you'd have to keep the boost in check until you got a forged shortblock but it's still a great power adder. I just hope you have a lot of patience if you go that route.

Turbos are the most efficient way to add power, but you will probably want to build up your stock engine, and the cost will be pretty high compared to other kits. Also, be aware that a lot of turbo systems for our stangs are not smog legal. You can go centrifugal or roots or twin screw. There are a bunch of good products out there. Vortech, Eaton, or Kenne Bell. It depends on where you want to go with your range of power and how you get there. Do your research on these products. Check out the power adder section of stangnet forums also, there is some good info in there.

if you get the procharger get the D1SC , the P1 is crap ...IMO....but the NOVI 2000 is better than the D1 for about the same price ....

No experience with either procharger or a turbo set up, but a big thank you for your service over there.
