is it as easy as it sounds in chiltons?

70 stang-my engine is out, fenders, hood, hinges off, painting engine compartment.

from the directions in chiltons, it appears that removing the power brake/master cylinder unit should take less than 15 minutes.

do you agree?

Yes, it comes right out, Just disconnect the brake lines and the 4 or 5ish nuts on the inside of the firewall and it will fall right out.

Don't forget the rod attached to the brake pedal that the brake light switch is on.

Chiltons...oh my! Taking it out is one thing, reinstalling, well, remember that Murphy's Law is always present.

It's pretty easy... but I'd budget an hour for the job.
