Ok my friend with an fox 5.0, swapped out his stock lower and upper, for my edelbrook intake. he pluggede and unplaugged whatever it needed to make it work, so my quistion is, he idle fine, but he has no pwer brakes, well the pedal is real hard. what could had happen? he pulled codes and come up with Hego sensor to low, and an egr code.

I don't think the EGR or o2 codes are relevant to the brake problem. Tell him to check all the vacuum line's on the intake, the vacuum tree, the brake booster .... everywhere.

Agreed with Justin. Check overall vacuum readings - power brakes normally need double digit vac to operate properly. A bad check valve is another possibility.

He can apply vac directly to the booster (with a Miti vac) to see if the pedal gets softer.
