Thanks to the previous owner my car has not had o2 sensors he whole time I've ownded it. I finally figured out where the plugs where, so now once I get em hooked up, will I notice a change in power? I know gas mileage will get better. Also will I need a harness extenstion to reach? I have long tubes and the bung is welded in just before the flange. If so where can I get a harness extension?

Aren't the MIL's for the secondary O2's on OBD-II cars? I believe so (I've not heard of using them on OBD-I cars).

WIthout O2's, you're running in FMEM, and on a SD car, it can run pretty good without them.

Good luck.

why replace what may not be broken? You could be wasting your cash.

are you pulling codes for o2's?? My bro and I both have about 200k on our original 86 02's, and never a single problem.

Do what ever it takes to get the O2's back in...

You should be able to find extension harnesses, start by calling the guys that fab'd the headers. They will atleast know where to direct you.

You may see some improvement in power, but the effect of adaptive fuel on wot will probably be minimal.
