Possible switch problem...

Simple first step; remove the passenger side switch and spray it down good with electrical parts cleaner available from the auto parts store or Radio Shack.

check the switch with a test light to see if you have power when you depress the button. Often those buttons go bad after years of use. 5 minute replacement. That and check the wiring in the door as you may have inadvertently pulled a wire off when you were in there. Check all the wires going into the bottom of the switch to make sure they are seated.
