The P.O. had installed actuators in the mustang, it is a two wire actuator, a blue and green wire. It was then wired to a cheapo alarm system. I want to make it so i can also control them without the alarm/ with a switch. So i'm wondering, how do you wire these actuators? does it need a ground? a special switch? do the current to open it go to one wire and to go down go to the other wire?

Also, i got some reproduction arm rests, and my passengers are always complaining about it poking their sides, any way to remedy it? I'm afraid of sanding it down. its not the deluxe interior, its the standard.

TIA

Actuators are like you said, power in and ground. The alarm is going to reverse the polarity of the wires in order to lock/unlock.If it was a 3 wire, it would be easier to ground one and then apply power to either lock/unlock.
