Does anyone remember if the power mirrors are 2 or 3 wires going to the connector?

Power mirrors have three wires going to each mirror. Looking at the 93 diagram C509 (left side) should have DB, R, Y and C608 (right) should have P, DG, Y.

I thought it was 3, but couldn't remember for sure. I am going to take both off tomorrow, sand them down and repaint them again. To keep from having to take the door panel off, I splice in a 3 wire trailer plug. I have already did the passenger side plug, but will do the drivers side plug tomorrow. It just makes it easier to remove them and repaint them. I'll post a pic tomorrow to show a little more what I am talking about.

Well, here are some pictures. The mirrors turned out real nice this time. I used lacquer flat black and then clear lacquer on top. The plugs make it so much easier to disconnect the mirrors next time.
