I noticed today that the 2 nuts holding the power steering ram to the frame had backed out. Is there any adjustment needed on these or do you just tighten them snug to the bracket?

No adjustment needed. Just tighten them down. It's a fairly common problem along with the bracket wanting to seperate from the frame.

I believe the original nuts used on those were a crimped lock nut type. If the crimp has worn out you may want to replace them either with a nylock which is a reuse once type nut or a crimp lock nut like the original ones. The originals seem to be reusable many more times the a nylock without loosing the locking ability.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, these are the crip nuts and they are definately worn out. I'll try the nylon nut. Thanks again.
