I've searched the forum and I couldn't find a concrete answer to this problem. The seat goes up and down with no problem but can't go foward towards the steering wheel, I am pretty sure it can go back, but being all the back, that it wont move forward. Obviously, it isn't weak because when i try to use the little joystick thats on the seat to move forward, it clicks like its stuck and the dome light gets slightly dim, so basically theres power there but its not going anywhere. If it was a blown fuse, where would it be? Thanks for input...

there are 2 little driveshaft looking things under the seat running from the motor to the sliding rails.. mine stripped a gear and it sounds just like that... when your not sitting in your seat and you try and move the seat back and forth can you see it turn left or right before it starts to move as a whole?.. if that makes sence... wed. night bar night lol

sounds like a bad power seat motor, common problem on 1994 to 1998, Mustangs and the motor is not serviced seperatly by FoMoCo....so if you want new, you'll have toget a whole new seat track as an asbly........
