Hello

I have bought me a 302 engine from 1972 for my -67 mustang.
And the problem is that I was thinking to take the power steering pump from my 260 engin but I don´t think the bracket won´t fit.

I have this bracket now: http://www.mustangunlimited.com/itemdy01.asp?T1=7C511+01&Category=&catkey=emustang But I can´t find any bracket that will fit on a -72 302 engine.

So my question is where can I find a bracket that will fit?

Thanks,
Mattias

the PS pump from your 260 is a bracket for an Eton PS Pump will not work for a saginaw PS Pump, Get the bracket that you saw on e-bay and get a 67 saginaw pump and hoses

So the only thing to do is to buy a new power steering pump?
Can I really not use my eaton pump?
So all 72 mustang using a saginaw pump and bracket?

Is there really no bracket that will work on a eaton pump and fit a -72 302 engine?

I made my eaton bracket out of 1 in flat steel. Works great.

it may be because the 72 engine has a drivers side water pump?, the earlier cars had a pass side water pump, the ps steering bracket is different on 70 and up cars because of that, and bosses on WP's are different. I would say if you changed waterpumps you should be able to use all your old brackets.

Yes that should do it, but the problem is that my other waterpump from my 260 engine don´t fit on the 302 engine...

Can you buy a waterpump for a -72 302 cu in. with the outlet on the passenger side?
