Really dumb question, but how full should I fill the power steering resovoir? Quarter full? Half full? I filled up up to where it says "full" on the dipstick, but thats not even an eigth of the way full for the resovoir, is that enough? Thanks.

I believe you will need to fill it and then leave the cap off and turn the wheels back and forth a few times (with the gnine running of course). This should get the fluid into the system and bleed the air out. Then you can top it off.

I think this is the standard procedure.

Ok, thanks, I'll go try this.

What Adam said sounds good to me. it can make it easier on the system to self-bleed if the front wheels are in the air. it should not matter if the reservoir was not empty.

It does not sound like your level was down far enough to allow air into the system. It seems to me that there is a full hot and full cold mark (or maybe that is only on the 94 - cant recall). Anyhow, i like to check hydraulic fluids when the fluid is hot (that is what matters).

Good luck.
