Is it possible or feasible to install power steering in a car not equipped
with it originally?
I live in the city, and while my car is garaged, it takes alot to
parallel park it and get it in and out of garage.

How $$$ would it be?

thanks

its possible. there are a couple of ways to go.. either check ebay for a complete used set up or convert to a rack and pinion set up. the cheapest would be the used original type set up off ebay or a good used donor car. you might have to replace the control valve or slave cylinder. the better, more reliable way would be to convert to rack and pinion, but it would cost atleast $1300 for parts.

What are the benefits of rack and pinion? How does this type of conversion address his tight turning issues?
