Guys -
I have snapped 2 pulley installers and stripped 1 power steering pump installating the pulley for my pump. Basically the pulley gets onto the shaft then with about .25" left go the pulley just won't go on any farther. Is there a lubricant I can use to get it on the last little bit. I'm going to run my belt with it like this for now and I'll probably start going through belts like crazy. The reason for this is I removed the A/C and Smog then installed the March brackets for the Alt and power steering pump. I have an electric water pump so the alinement for that i'm not worried and the crank is straight. It's about .25" off from the alt and that's all. Just need to know how to get it on the last little bit.
Thanksh
