Hey guys just a quick question for you...I just replaced my power steering pump with a remanufactured pump from Napa and I have some play in the pulley. The pulley moves in and out a little, not up or down or side to side. Is the in and out movement with the pulley common with remanufactured Ford pumps, or did I get hosed and got a bad pump?

replaced mine with a remanufactured unit from Advanced Auto and it had a very small amount of play, mine did not come with a pulley I had to use the one off the original pump.
The in and out play is normal on all pumps. New, used, reman etc....
ALL power steering pumps are like that on all cars. MY 4.6L motor power steering pump has play in it.
