Power steering pump removal questions

FWIW, you can remove the pump without removing the pulley.

Once on the bench you can remove the pulley and snail shell bracket.

Good luck.

The pump is leaking fluid from the front, behind the pulley. Even though the pump still works OK, I figured I'd just replace it instead of trying to repair the leak. In either case I would need to remove the pulley. Any tricks to this removal? So, I can take out the assembly first, then remove the pulley?

u can remove the p/s pump w/o removing the pulley plus it would be alot easier to remove the pulley if u did. if been thro is situation before(most people prolly have) Oh and have fun gettin the air out of the lines.....its a blast!!!
