does anyone know of ANY reason why synthetic power steering or synthetic ATF would damage a stock power steering pump (It is for a 68 stang with a 302)?

it shouldnt, its not like it gets all clogged like a motor would which is what you worry bout when you switch to synthetic motor oil.
