Power Steering Squealing

I replaced my power steering pump about a month ago, and it is still making this wierd wurring noise when the engine is at idle, and gets a notch louder when I turn the wheel in either direction. There are no kinked hoses, they are in their proper positions, and it is not leaking. I took it to a shop when I had to have my carburetor cleaned out an they said that it just needed top be topped off. Well, the fluid is still above the add line and still makes NOISE . In my chilton book it said something about using ATF fluid, but I wasnt sure so I just bought a gallon of Valvoline Synthetic Power Steering fluid. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Yeah the power steering takes Type-F atf, don't know if the synthetic you have will help or hinder though.

Thanks. I will drain some of the synthetic out and give it a shot.
