Well I got my crush nuts and tried the installationto my dismay the hex hole is wollered out so it just spins. Next step is to put the manual draglink back on andtake the the 'Stang to a shop and have the crush nut welded in. I reckon I could get a muffler shop to do it as most hace MIG welders that have a thin electrode. Just a bead around it and I'm done. Back to the garage and back on w/ the control valve, link, and slave cylinder. I wonder how much the dude at the shop would charge. I know it's a helluva lot cheaper than calling out a truck.

What are you talking about? Update your old thread! Did you strip the bracket to chassis nut? Holesaw the chassis above the bolt holes and install nuts/washers on the back side. I think I answered this already in your other thread?

It would be an easy job. Only take a few minutes to tack them in place. Just make sure that you can run the bolts in and out ok before you have them welded. I can't imagine it would cost much. Maybe you can get a stangnet member near you to help you out.
