Power Steering???

I am thinking of taking out my power steering. What all is involved in that? Taking off the pump, pluging the rack, and getting a shorter belt. Anything else? How hard is the car going to be to steer? Is there a way to make it easier to steer without the pump?

You'll need to go to a manual rack. They have a different gear ratio for turning lock to lock than the power ones do.
