power steering

Run far away. That kit is infamous for its fit problems, and the inability of the maker to correct them. You will probably get some installation horror stories on this site.

Suggest you investigate either Steeriods or Randall's Rack.

anything cheap? i mean, i dont have all sorts of money to throw around, i know thet theres probably not a kit under $1k, but if anyone has any thing lesthat $1650, thatd be awesome

Randall's power rack is ~$1,400 without the aftermarket pump. I would recommend springing for the pump. the stock ford pump puts out too much pressure.

ok that sounds good, i called them up and they said its breand new and takes the price and jacksit up about 2-3 hundred bucks

Randall seems more than reasonable, we are planning on installing one of his racks in our '65 when it comes out of the shop. I told him the engine has a slight relocation rearward. His comment was no problem, if it does not fit simply send it back and he'll refund our money, can't beat that! If you've cheked out the thread for installing his rack, nothing but compliments.

sweet, sounds good, i just ordered the mpbrakes and theyre coming tmrw, uploading my car to a daily driver, so power isnt a bad idea
