I've been having trouble with my power windows for awhile now. Here's what's goin on. The drivers side has given me fits for awhile, intermittently working. In the spring I replaced the bushings in the window motor and it seemed to work at first, but now it's stuck down again. Decided to do a little trouble shooting today and noticed the following:

1. I can hear like a "click" noise in the door when I push the switch up or down.

2. Passenger side window will go up and down fine using the switch on the passenger door

3. Using the switch on the drivers door i can get the passenger window to go down (sounds like the motor is running weaker if that makes sense) but I can't get it to go back up.

4. I shot the insides of the rocker switches with electronics cleaner and it did not help.

5. I moved the passenger side rocker switch over to the drivers door switch to see if i could get the drivers side window up and it did not work.

6. I moved one of the drivers side rockers over to the passenger door switch and the window went up and down fine.

So from what I did today, I don't think I have a problem with the motors or the rockers in the switches. Any ideas what to look for next?

Check all wiring. We had this problem about 6 months ago on my friends 94. Ended up one of the wires some how got spliced and was intermittent. Just follow all the wires, it may be your problem.

+1 on wiring.

Check the main loom going into the drivers door for faulty wires, mainly where the harness can rub against the door.

Also check inside the door to make sure you did not pinch any wires while removing/installing the door panel.
