I am looking seriously at a set of power windows for my 68 as a winter project.
I was wondering if any of you guys have seen or put a set of "Electric Life" direct replacement power mechanisms in one of our old Mustangs.
I have looked through some cars at a salvage yard but have come to the conclusion that this is the way to go.
Any thoughts?

I've got a set for my 67 but have not installed them yet so I cannot offer first-hand experience. They seem to be pretty straight forward though, other than wiring the switch they are not much different than the stock scissors.

Here's a link to a thread on my power window installation. It even includes a list of parts and pricing. Hopefully it will help, I'll see if I can get the pictures to show back up.
