I posted this on on the power adder section and got not response. I am planning to s.c. this 347 and have the powerdyne on and the electric fuel pump as I was planning to fuel inject and supercharge at the same time. I called Powerdyne and thier tech guy said he had never seen their centrifical blower used on a carb. application. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Oh yea, its a Speed demon 600cfm vac secondary carb.

I'm confused you said you where going to super charge and fuel inject at the same time but then ask if you can use it on a carb? Are you going carbed or fuelie?

A vac secondary carb wont work right, but you need to buy the carb hat and make some ducting, replce the floats in the carb with the "plastic" type and up the jetting 5% on the primaries and 10% on the secondaries. My carb has a chennel cut into the base plate to pressureize the gas to keep it from blowing out the shafts.

I have the hat already installed and I have the ducting coming. The info on the carb though was great. THanks!

Paxton makes a centrifugal supercharcher for carb setup. I believe its the NOVI 1200. I beleive it was originally designed to work with the holley Double Pumper but works with Demon applications as well. Its supposed to work with stock and modified engines.

I had not thought about the carb needing to be a mech. sec. unit. Years ago I modified a holley with a bolt to make it a mech. unit. I will check on that tonight to see if that possible on this demon. Thanks again for the help!
