In my 1992 GT the front left bolt of the drivers seat has ripped out. Some one told me about a PPI reinforcement plate, but the description says its for the back of the seat..DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS????

PPI floorpan reinforcement plate, reinforces the crack-prone floorpan area under the rear of the driver's seat, simple 20-minute installation, this is the ONLY floorpan reinforcement on the market that really fits!, featured in the 5/95 Super Ford, 9/95 MM & FF and 3/97 Ford and Mustang Trader, new...view

If it's torn out, chances are you're going to need to weld it, in order to repair the tear. That seat brace will onlt fit under the rear of the seat (under the car), since it's designed to fit the floor pan in that area.

It goes on the rear seat mount, since that's what the problem area was on the early Fox Mustangs.

The subframe connectors with the cross bar for the seat should serve the same purpose. Either one is just an attempt to keep the seat in place, and keep it from having the infamous "gangsta lean" that they get frequently.

the infamous "gangsta lean" that they get frequently is from the actual seat back splitting the spot welds. I have already fixed the gangsta lean on mine. You have to take the cushion and seat cover off the back and re weld the spot welds of the seat back frame. Some times the seat back can rip in the corners also. My problem is that the car had the gangsta lean so bad and the kid that had the car before me didnt care. The left front stud to hold the seat down physically started ripping out of the floor. So i was woundering if this would fix the front from ripping out.

what i could do is buy this bracket cut cut off the two flanges on the bottom and have someone weld this into my car for me. That would beef up the front mounts..????
