Pre-Painted Louvres?

Anyone know of any online store that sells the rear window louvres pre painted in the stock mustang colors? I would just be interested in seeing the price of those as opposed to getting them painted myself.

They are all over ebay. Also check out Silver Horse Racing which just released a replacement for the 1/4 glass and they can be painted to match as well.

Are you talking about the side rear glass or THE rear glass (singular)? I haven't seen the rear (singular) louvers already painted.

check out the roush website, i believe they sell prepainted parts.

Just looked on Roush's site and they are $386 for them painted. Kinda expensive if you ask me.

*EDIT* Well after scouring the internet for pre-painted ones, it seems this is what they run. Does it really cost over $200 to have these two small things painted??? I just can't fathom that. Maybe I am in the wrong business.

Ebay runds about $175 to 275 painted and delivered. I know what you mean about the wrong business too.

Most jobs, no matter what it is will more than likely have a minium they charge for things. Painting an enitre car is labor intesive so it demands "x" amount. Painting 1/4 window louvers is a real quick process in comparison, but they aren't going to setup their supplies, do prep work and the actual paint time for some small fee. Just not the way most businesses are run. You could try some place like Macco. Me? I'm going to go with the pre painted Roush louvers and rear spoiler as soon as the weather warms up.

He's a good guy, only lives about 1/2 hour from here. He sells the Roush ones prepainted, and if you email him, he will probably paint any of the louvers that you want.

Well, thats much better than the $220 markup that roush charges for them. I could understand $75 to $100. I know it takes a good bit of prep to paint stuff, but then again it should only take 15 seconds to actually paint these, no taping or markoff work. So I think $75-$100 is fair.

If you want other things painted too, such as your mirrors, or any other scoops you would safe money by having them all done at one time.
You are paying for paint and set up time. $150 is not unreasonable.
