...as a continuation of my thread about 4.10 speed confirmation.

I just read some articles and posts about Predators not working in terms of the gear change. I am certain mine is way off.

anyone experience this before?

im going to try and get a refund or exchange it for an XCal. any problems with the XCal?

I have some earlier revisions of the Predator Tune (r42b, r42f, r50b, r50c) if you want to try them and have the means to download them to the Predator. Also consider a custom tune for the Predator. It will not cost much more than exchanging the Predator for a XCal 2, and a custom tune is hands down better than any pre-loaded tune that comes with either tuner.

ive thought about custom tunes, but im weary as this thing is suppossed to work. and ive heard from Tomustang that it didnt for him either.

will a custom tune fix my problem?

Ask Dave at www.injectedracing.com about this. He does custom Predator tunes by e-mail at a very reasonable price and is very good about answering questions promptly. My own feeling is that a custom tune will eliminate this problem, and nothing is lost by asking him.

Email Diablosport. I've seen posts where they asked for the user's factory tune and Diablosport changed the gear setting then sent it back.
