Predator on 2V?????

I have one and love it. It made a huge difference with the throttle response at all rpm's. It also feels like it pulls quite a bit harder. I am going to get it put on the dyno again and use it to tune the car a little bit and see if I can get some more out of it.

I have had mine since last Thursday, and really like it so far. I have noticed much crisper throttle response and the car pulls way harder in 4th gear. So far I have just loaded the standard performance tune, I have yet to play with the fuel and spark adjustments. Now I cant wait to install 3.73's and LT's :nice:

you guys are talking about the programmer right? i am not really a electronics guy so i get a little lost when it comes to this type of stuff. anyway does this just plug into the stock computer and upload the new tunes?

also is it limited to what you can actually tune on your car?? Like N/A, mild boost, high boost, nitrous.... can you change everything enough to where it accommodates any changes and different levels of performance??? or do you have to send it back to Diablo to get programmed for higher performance?
Where are the biggest gains noticed in the powerband? down low, mid, up high?

You don't have to send it to diablo to reprogram it. You fill out a mod sheet and tell them what you want they will make up a program and send it to you or your shop and then you download it to your predator and then put it in your car. I noticed the biggest gain in the low rpm's but I did see gains thru the entire range.

I vaguely remember hearing that the Predator isnt compatible with auto's, anyone know otherwise?

Also, is an intimate knowledge of automotive workings required to toy with the settings or is it something you could pick up in a day of reading?

On the contrary...you can change your shift points (rpms) and shift firmness.

As for my manual, I've poked around with the fuel and timing and it has really broaden my torque band (pulls stronger for WAY longer). She's going on a dyno for fine tuning in 2 weeks.
