Depends on location, weather, etc. Its always best to have it checked with a wideband, then we can adjust from there.

I am thinking about getting a diablo also, but i have a cnl mass air meter and i heard that if you have a cnl and the diablo that you will run too lean and could damage your engine. I know that the cnl does lean it out a little but do you all think the cnl and the diablo would be too much. I would like to try a programmer but if it leans me out too much then i won't waste my money.

Also keep in mind that you can adjust the rich/lean mixture with the predator, and since it is an actual re-program, the computer wont "learn" around it....

Adjust it to what based on what? (whether it 'sounds' right or 'feels' right? )People like the Predator because it's like a game boy - they get a big screen and get to push buttons and make minor chgs. Next will be Predator with a color screen and joystick!
Get a real tune - SCT or Diablo CMR.

My preadtor on my 04 was right on put it on the dyno last week a/f was perfect just leaned it out some more downlow. My car put down 248 at the wheels with exhaust and cai. So I say it helped.

Ever car is differnet so everyone befor you mess with a/f get to a dyno and then tune your car. Some mass airs setups and people who are running off road pipe usally go pretty lean on the stock tune them give you.

I have a friend that got a Vortech supercharger off eBay and he is tunning the car with the Predator. Seems to me that it is a pretty handy tool to have around. Plus you can calibrate for gears, tire size, data log, etc.

You obviously don't understand why some people choose the Diablo Predator over the SCT Flash Tuner. I chose the Diablo Predator not for the buttons, but for what it can do.

There is nothing that stops a Predator owner from getting a professional tune and loading it via the Predator, just like the SCT owner would. Then, if it needs a little tweak, the end user can do that with the Predator, by himself or under the advise of the professional tuner. The SCT user would have to go back to the tuner for even a small tweak.
