Plugs right in mon... I think once you buy one, you can get tunes from Predator's website that are setup for your car with the mods you have.

It comes with a tune that gives you more torque and horsepower. You don't need a new tune when you get basic bolt ons. Maybe for a cam, blower or turbo. It plugs in and is menu-driven. I have a few screen shots in my Cardomain thing.

Its very easy to do, it gives you instructions as you go.

I had one and with bolt ons you do not need a custom tune so it will work well for you stock or with boltons.

Does it make that much difference in hp to the rear wheel, torque?

I know what I've read in the magazine and on their website, but how about some of your experiences?

The HP comes from bumping the timing (which requires higher octane fuel) and adjusting the A/F a little (which is best done with a dyno with A/F readout).

So if you are looking for power gains, don't get a programmer. However, like the others said, you can make your auto shift firmer, change shift points, change speedo (if you get gears), turn off MILs, etc.

It might be worth getting after you get all those mods put on your car and getting a custom tune.

yeah. what he said. there are some places that will give you a free tune for life if you buy the tuner from them

James @ RTWD, they have been so busy and take for ever here lately. another cool place is http://www.injectedracing.com/ that is where i bought mine from and he does 'custom tunes' pretty well. that would be a good investment if you are going to mod your car more.
