Well, we got the car running last week and put some street miles on it. Yesterday we put it on the rollers to play around a bit. The SpeedPro tune in the car was set for 26psi, but we only ran 10psi, so the car was very fat. We also stopped the dyno run at 7000rpm, rather than it's expected rpm range of 9000+. With 10psi the car made 800rwhp through the Lentech automatic. A/F was in the low 9's (because the car is set up for 26psi). Previously, the car dyno'd 600rwhp with the standard 281 engine in place with 10psi. So a s/b change and a VT spec'd cam swap netted 200rwhp thus far over the previous results. We can't wait to see what this thing does with the 35psi it'll be seeing. Final tuning will be done next week, and if the owner wishes to release #'s, we'll post them up. :flag:

800RWHP through an auto at 10psi? Going to 35psi!??!?? :worship: :hail2:

Having a setup like that :nice:

Thinking you're James Bond and keeping the numbers secret. :notnice:

Can you give us engine specs? How in the world are you going to safely get 35 psi?

Safely and 35psi should not even be used in the same sentence. At that level you are always taking a chance.......but nothing ventured...nothing gained. WE PUSH THE LIMITS!

Sounds very interesting. If the owner does not wish to publish the numbers it's understandable. Just post up his name, address, home & cell phone numbers right here in the tech section under a thread called "Turbo 324 Owner Refuses to Let Others Know How Much Power His Car Makes".
