I have a 2006 GT with the premium trim. A few years ago I bought a sirius unit that velcroes (sp) to the dash. It's stuck on the silver part of the dash. It got really hot and humid last summer, and the heat caused the unit to come away from the dash, leaving a mark where the adhesive was. I didn't see any silver paint on the adhesive, but still, I'm wondering if the mark took the paint off, or if it the mark is adhesive. Any advice/experience?
Also, when the sirius unit hung off the dash, it kind of stuck to the shaker display screen, leaving adhesive residue.
Assuming I can clean both of these surfaces, does anyone know of a safe way to remove the residue without damaging the silver paint or the display screen?
