Hey guys,

My 01 mustang GT was actually bought in late 2000. as of right now the car has about 18,500 miles on it.

I am pretty good about making sure the oil is good, and most of the fluids get changed at regular intervals.

On most car maintenance schedules, you do this if you hit X miles or X number of months. Since I have an "OLD" car with low miles, i think that kind of schedule is out of whack. What should I check out to make sure I am ok.

I have replaced since last August/September, the water pump, rear gear fluid, coolant, oil & filter, washer fluid, & auto tranny fluid, its on a relatively new battery, and my serpentine belt is about a year old (no noticable wear/tear) my brakes are still strong. Fuel pump/filters where changed early last summer. tires are about 3 years old with lots of tread.

is there anything else i should check? the car runs strong and behaves just right.

one thing about my car is that the alternator is severely oxygenated. I took the alternator to the autozone, and they hooked it up to a tester and said it was running strong, should i be worried though?

i wouldn't worry about the alternator. the only other thing i would suggest is just checking all the hoses for signs of cracking and dry rot. other than that, it sounds like you've got a handle on it.
