I was just offered an 04 mustang gt with only 59000 miles on it. I am not planning on keeping the car I just saw the opportunity to make some money off of it so im thinking about taking it. The kbb price is 12000 retail and I was just wondering what is a good estimate on what I should expect to make. It's 5 speed and orange in color. No exterior mods. The only mods that i know of is the Bbk headers bbk x pipe bbk cold air bbk racing springs cobra pulleys roush short shifter.

Ill ignore the 3 posts asking the same question, but I have a question. What are Cobra Pulleys? The pre-03 Cobras used the same pulleys as the GT. The 03-04 Cobras were supercharged and had a completly different pulley setup.

What are you getting it for? These are terrible cars to try to make money off of. They're a dime a dozen and the prices have really been driven down since the 11's and the fall of the 05-09 prices.

I agree, I wouldnt have said more than 10k....and that would be only if it was in PERFECT condition.

Mods dont really mean anything either. They really dont add much value, especially bolt-ons. Turbos, S/Cs....they might, but it depends on how it is done.

I am still wondering what cobra pulleys are.......

prestonubc22, I have to agree with everyone else. I'll further add that I personally wouldn't pay over 6,000 (if that much) for a 2V New Edge. And that's talking about a drop top in good condition. Even the newest one is almost 10 years old, there's nothing special (IMO) about the engine, and you have to figure in mods which you're sure to buy. You pay 12 G's for that car and add 5 G's in parts and labor, and you've got a $17,000 04 GT...blah.

For being an 04 Mustang GT with 59,000 miles on it, it is still practically a new car imo. Hell anything made in 2000 and up is practically new to me haha. :D
Most cars these days can last till 200k or more if they are properly taken care of. I would say 11k is the most that that car should be sold for but only if it is in really really clean shape, but if it isnt then I think 9,000 is a fair price.
What are you plans if you do get the car? If you just plan on DD it with the mods that it has now thats a plus. Now if you want to build a badass 11-12 sec car then I would look at some other GT's preferably ones that are stock with similar mileage, so you get a car that has not had someone toy around with it with installing low ball parts or doing it half assed.
