Price on 2004 Cobra

I'm thinking of buying a Cobra. With x-plan and rebates (3000 + 500 military discount) I should be able to get one for about $30,000. Would that be a good deal? If I do get one, I'd like to fly up to Oregon to get one tax free. I was hoping that I could sell my car for about $16000-$17000. Somewhat of a high price for an 02, but I've done tons of mods. What do you guys think?

Its a tough market right now for people looking to get out. I just did. Instead of trying to sell it privately what about the dealer. You might get hammered but the wait of trying to sell the car you might not find a Cobra in time.

Where you from? Have you tried to register a new car after buying it in another state?

There are laws against it in California.

Yes, I live in California, but being military keep my car registered in Florida.
