Anyone know the price for a Kenne Bell Supercharger for a 99+ GT? IF anyone has one on their GT, please post a pic.
snoopy98 said:well it might cost more and create about the same power maybe a little more. BUT GUESS WHAT I BET THAT VORTECH ISIN'T MAKING A CURVE LINE LIKE A KB, WERE BOOST IS JUST ABOUT INSTANT WHILE YOUR'E SITTING THEIR TRYING TO PICK UP RPMS IN YOUR VORTECH GUESS WHAT THE KB CAR IS GONE ABOUT 3 CARS FROM YOU. ATLEAST THAT IS WHAT I HEARD THE MOST ON THESE BOARDS.
Thats what has me sold on the KB. (that and the fact that their customer service seems to take care of their customers better than anyone else.)GregGTStang said:Would it be worth the money to get the intercooled kit?
aren't those numbers on an other wise stock gt?? I wonder how much beter this thing would be with ported heads? and maybe a future cam? or even on a 5.4 engine swap?twogts4us said:Now if I could just cut and paste this easily into my GT!!! $3700 - $4900, depending on options and amount of boost.

Yep, those #s are on a stock GT - ported heads, cams, etc. would enhance these numbers - swheeeet!bdcardinal said:well i dont think you can use the gt blower on the 5.4 the heads are father apart, in that case you can just run the lightning blower.
ya, i knew about the 5.4's heads being farther apart. I was assuming the use of some alluminum addaptors like what 5.0 mustangs mag. did. If that were the case, would the kb be a better sc than the lightning sc?bdcardinal said:well i dont think you can use the gt blower on the 5.4 the heads are father apart, in that case you can just run the lightning blower.
