I did a search but didnt find much.I bought a used pro 5.0 shifter off evil bay for my 04 gt.I put it on tonight and when I was putting it in,it was hard to push down to get the 4 bolts that hold it on the tranny started.The shifter also was sitting maybe 1/4 inch higher than stock with the ball in place(the little ball on the end of the shifter).Nothing was binding,it was like I was pushing up against a spring.the rod and ball that goes into the trans was longer than stock,It shifts fine Though.When I put a pro 5.0 in my turbocoupe with the WC t5,it just dropped in.Anyone had the same problem?Im hoping its not for a t5 or a t45.I dont even know if they would work.
. But hey if it works and shifts fine, then maybe its ok....just watch it and see if everything stays ok.
