Pro 5.0 Shifter Bolts Necessary?

I just picked up a slightly used Pro 5.0 on ebay for $100 a few days ago. Well the guy didn't put the four mounting bolts in the box. On the instruction sheet it says they are longer and are necessary for the install...but would it be a problem to re-use the stock ones?

If I need them, where can I get them...fast. I know it's a simple question but I'm just making sure.

I just used my stock shifter bolts. Everything is great

They definitely are longer -- I'd want them (or equivalet) for something you're ripping on pretty hard.

just figure out how long the total depth is and go get some at a hardware store.
